Service area too large
How large can the service area on a Google Business Profile be?
Google's guidelines say a service-area profile's overall boundaries shouldn't go beyond about 2 hours of driving time from where the business is based, though larger areas may be appropriate for some businesses.
The rule: what Google says
Google's guidelines say a service-area profile's overall boundaries shouldn't go beyond about 2 hours of driving time from where the business is based. The same page adds that larger service areas may be appropriate for some businesses. Google says it may suspend or disable Business Profiles that don't follow its guidelines. It also says an owner who believes the profile should be reinstated can submit an appeal.

How to tell if it applies to your profile
The rule applies to service-area businesses. Google says a business with no storefront with clear signage, which travels to customers at their physical locations, is allowed one service-area Business Profile. Hybrid businesses can show a storefront address and also set a service area. Google gives auto repair shops with a garage and roadside service as an example. To check your profile, compare the outer edge of your service area with the place your business is based. The guideline is about 2 hours of driving time from where the business is based.
What to fix before you appeal
Google's guidelines ask that your address and/or service area be accurate and precise. Google also says a service-area business should hide its business address from customers. Before you submit an appeal, Google says to make sure your profile follows all the guidelines. Appeals can only be submitted once. Google says not to create a new Business Profile for the same business.
