PROOF BY COUNTRY
Proof that counts in the United Kingdom
Which documents prove a UK business to Google?
Google names business registration, license tax certificates and utility bills as examples of supporting documents, and for a UK limited company the public register at Companies House is where you can get company records, as long as the business name and address on each document match your profile.
The official register and example documents
Companies House says it incorporates and dissolves limited companies. It also says it registers company information and makes it available to the public. Its Find and update company information service makes all the public data the registry holds on companies available free of charge. For bulk appeals, Google names business registration, license tax certificates and utility bills as examples of supporting documentation.

The name and address must match
Google says it may suspend or disable Business Profiles that do not follow its guidelines. Its tip for appeal evidence is that the business name and address on any document you submit must match the profile you are appealing for. In the bulk appeal steps, Google says the business name and address on each document must exactly match your registration.
Where an owner gets a copy
Companies House says you do not need to register to view company information through its Find and update company information service. You can download a copy of a filed document for free from the company's filing history. The email alert from its Follow service links to that filing history. Companies House says you cannot order copies of company information by phone or post.
