Phone number or website that redirects

What phone number and website can a Google Business Profile use?

A Google Business Profile should give a phone number that connects to the individual business location, or a website that represents it, and should not use numbers or URLs that send people to anything other than the actual business.

The rule: what Google says

Google's guidelines say a Business Profile should give a phone number that connects to the individual business location, or a website that represents it. They say not to provide phone numbers or URLs that redirect or refer users to pages or numbers other than those of the actual business. This includes pages created on social media sites. The phone number must be under the direct control of the business, and premium phone numbers are not acceptable, whatever rate the caller is charged. Google says to use a local phone number instead of a central call center helpline number whenever possible, and that additional phone numbers can be used on Google Business Profile websites and other local surfaces. Google says it may suspend or disable Business Profiles that don't follow its guidelines.

What to fix before you appeal

Google tells owners to make sure the profile follows all the guidelines before submitting an appeal. An owner who believes the profile should be reinstated can submit an appeal. Appeals can only be submitted once. Google's appeal instructions say not to create a new Business Profile for the same business.
