Home address on a business that travels to customers
Should a business that visits customers show its home address on Google?
No: Google's guidelines tell a service-area business, one that travels to customers, to hide its address from customers, and that includes a home address.
The rule: what Google says
Google's guidelines tell a service-area business to hide its address from customers. Google's own example is a plumber who runs the business from a home address. That owner is told to clear the address from the Business Profile. A business that travels to customers but has no storefront with clear signage is allowed one service-area profile. Google says a profile may be suspended or disabled when it doesn't follow its guidelines.

How to tell if it applies to your profile
Google describes service-area businesses as those that serve customers at the customers' locations. Such a business should have one profile for its central office or location, with a designated service area. A business that shows its address should keep permanent fixed signage of its business name at that address. Google treats some businesses as hybrid service-area businesses, and these can show a storefront address and a service area. A business that serves customers at its address and also sets a service area must have that location staffed and able to receive customers during its stated hours.
What to fix before you appeal
Google's appeal page tells owners to make sure the profile follows all the guidelines before they submit an appeal. For a service-area business, the fix Google's guidelines give is to hide the business address from customers. The guidelines also say the address and/or service area should be accurate and precise. If you submit documents as evidence, the business name and address on them should match the profile you are appealing for. Google says appeals can only be submitted once. Google also says not to create a new Business Profile for the same business.
